Gerald J. Bose
Mr. Bose is Principal of his own consulting firm, G. Bose Enterprises, LLC that delivers policy and systems solutions in the areas of Lean Enterprise, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Team Building and Change Management to small and mid-sized companies.
He has over 20 years of management consulting experience with the international firm Arthur D. Little, Inc., as well as with his own consulting firm. As a consultant he participated in or led various strategy or implementation projects for such organizations as General Electric, Ford, JI Case, Bristol Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Stryker Biotech, Quantum Chemical, Pennzoil, Weil-McClain, US Steel and Mattel/Fisher-Price, to name a few.
Gerald has both line and staff operations experience in his 15 years with various divisions of GE and Stryker Corporation. He led several implementations of MRP/ERP, Just-In-Time, Lean Manufacturing and High Performance Work Teams for these two corporations. His plants received Industry Week's Best Plants Awards an amazing four times!
Recently, his focus has been as a Lean Enterprise trainer/facilitator. Gerald is also an active member of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and a monthly contributor to ISM's Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI). He has also been active with the American Society of Inventory and Production Control (APICS), where he has been a certified practitioner (CPIM) since 1984.
Mr. Bose has earned his Masters in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Bachelors' in Mechanical Engineering and Economics, respectively, from Rutgers University .
